Yesterday, I spent an hour over at the University of St. Thomas speaking to students (courtesy of Betsy Anderson) about blogger outreach and how it fits into the marketing and communications mix for brands.
The presentation below sums up 11 tips for brands to consider when exploring and organizing a blogger outreach campaign. I even included a few examples from pitches I’ve received in the last few months.
As I’ve said before, I’m fairly passionate about blogger outreach because 1) I’m a blogger and, 2) We see so many failed attempts at pitches and we need to get better collectively as an industry.
