6 PR and marketing e-newsletters that will make you smarter
Email overload. We all suffer from it, right? But, on the other hand, we all have a need to stay on top of what’s new and trending in our industry.
One of the best ways to do that? Subscribe to key industry e-newsletters that do the content aggregation for you. Those that really pull together the best of the best each day or week. These are invaluable tools in your quest to stay one step ahead.
So, I thought today I’d give you six of my favorites–and why. Here we go.
Yes, PRD picks up my stuff from time to time. And yeah, the posts featured here (including mine) can be a little fluffy from time to time. But, they still do a darn good job of scanning the web each day for what’s best in PR.

Who doesn’t like case studies? We all learn from what others (including our competitors) are doing. And. this e-newsletter curates some of the best case studies from some of the biggest companies in the country.
Muck Rack Daily
Probably the surprise on this list. Think what you will of the tool, this daily e-newsletter is a must-scan for me. In particular, the trending topics section has pointed me in the right direction more than once.
OK, I gotta promote my own stuff, right? I think I’ve earned that In all seriousness, my goal with Talking Points is to make you smarter. Sure, I feature my own posts a bit. But, I also feature other posts from the week that was that I believe you need to read. And I rarely apply the “hard sell.”
